- Zodiac CH 650 Series
-
The ZODIAC is easy and
affordable to build and fly, yet it's an airplane you won't easily outgrow.
The ZODIAC is the perfect project for the first-time builder and the
demanding sport pilot, bridging the gap between performance flying and
affordable costs: Simple and quick to build; easy and fun to fly. Well
suited for low-time pilots, the ZODIAC offers exciting performance and good
cross-country flying capabilities. Loaded with standard features, the new
ZODIAC models provide all-metal durability, first-class comfort for two
large persons in a wide cabin, large baggage compartments, and much more.
New complete kits reduce building time, requiring no special skills or tools
to put together. Originally introduced in 1984, the ZODIAC design has a
proven track record. It's fun and easy to fly even for the novice pilot, yet
has capabilities and performance that will thrill the most experienced
pilot.

- STOL CH 701
- Short-field performance is where the STOL CH 701
aircraft truly excels: It is airborne in less than 120 feet of unprepared
grass, or 90 feet of hard surface, at gross weight. Rotation is possible by
the time full throttle setting is applied, and lift-off can begin at 25 mph
(in ground effect, with no wind) - all within less than four seconds from
stand still. Of course, any headwind shortens the time and distance required
for take off.
- NOW AVAILABLE IN A
FAST BUILD KIT
- STOL CH 750
- The all-new STOL CH 750 design is
available as a new easy-to-build kit which
promises to revolutionize ease and simplicity of construction, drawing upon
Zenith's decades of experience in the kit industry. For larger pilots who
find the 701 just too confining, the new 750 has all the earmarks of
retaining the 701's impressive STOL performance and style with more cabin
room then even the roomy STOL CH801.
- "We're just offering the standard kit at this point.
"Since all the parts are CNC punched and pre-formed, there's really not a
need for a 'quickbuild' version. With the blind rivets, you can build a wing
in two days

- STOL CH 801
- With form following function, the STOL CH
801 kit aircraft looks like the sport utility aircraft it is designed to be.
Not designed to be just another pretty aircraft, the STOL CH 801 was
developed to provide maximum short-field performance while being easy to
build and maintain. The STOL CH 801 is a four-seat sport utility kit
aircraft based on the successful two-seat STOL CH 701
design developed by aeronautical engineer Chris Heintz in the mid eighties.
Since its introduction in 1986, more than 400 short take-off and landing
STOL CH 701 aircraft have been successfully built and flown around the
world, many being used for light utility purposes.

- Zodiac CH 640
- The ZODIAC CH 640 is the newest light
aircraft designed from veteran aircraft designer
Chris Heintz. Heintz developed the new design in
response to demand from kit aircraft builders for an affordable and simple
four-seater. While there are literally hundreds of two-seat kit aircraft
designs available for construction, there are few modern four-seat designs
on the market: The available designs are either complex high-performance
planes (such a the Lancair IV) or "utility" designs such as Murphy's Super
Rebel and Heintz' own STOL CH 801.
The new ZODIAC CH 640 is designed to bridge the gap between these utility
designs and the fast and expensive composite designs - to make it a
practical and useful aircraft for the "average" pilot/builder. The CH 640
has a useful load of 1,000 lbs., making it a "true" four-seater.
