ZODIAC CH 640 kit comes with
all kit parts to build the airframe: The complete kit includes the factory
riveted wing spars, pre-formed sheet-metal parts (ribs, skins, etc.),
factory-welded parts, landing gear system and wheels, standard fuel system,
controls, and all hardware required for assembly. Items not included in the
airframe kit: firewall-forward package, powerplant and propeller,
instruments packages, electrical package, paint, and upholstery. Manuals are
included. (Expected airframe assembly time: 1,500 hours). |

| The Quick-Build Kit is expected to reduce the building time by over 1,000 hours. The Quick-Build kit includes the same items as the standard airframe kit. The fuselage, wings, ailerons and flaps and stabilator are assembled on the same jigs as the FAA type-certified CH2000 aircraft. Assembling the aircraft rudder and wings tip extensions must be completed by the builder. The builder must complete the final assembly of all sections. | ||

Landing /
Taxi Lights Option Kit with Cabin Lights Dual landing-taxi lights are mounted in the left wing leading edge near the tip to minimize vibrations for maximum bulb life. The ON/OFF switch for the landing / taxi lights is located on the instrument panel. Each of the two bulbs are independently adjustable. The bulbs are the standard GE aircraft type. The instrument panel is lighted by 2 spot lights (Type C4A) mounted to the cabin ceiling between the occupants’ heads. The lights are adjustable directionally and the beam width can be varied. The light intensity can be adjusted and its color changed progressively from white to red. Each unit may be removed from its attachment support for hand held operation. |
